The majority of U.S. workers don’t know where to turn for financial advice, with two-thirds of workers wanting to make more informed decisions about their investments, but don’t know how. They’re turning to Google, Instagram, and TikTok instead of a trusted financial advisor.
Some of the report highlights include:
- 93% of employees want their employers to offer increased access to financial planning services, but only 28% of companies do so
- 86% of of employees want to make more informed investments with money, but don’t know who to turn to
- 44% of employees turn to Google as their #1 source of financial advice, and 36% of employees turn to social media platforms, like TikTok and Instagram
